Rondji is an al fresco dining with an eco-friendly minimalist interior. The main dining room is housed under enormous Balinese Joglo with impeccable staff ready to assist you. Bar with extensive selection of wine and cocktail to satiate your thirst, all while gazing at our “Kitchen Painting” where arts meets cuisine, watch the open kitchen where the Chef crafting your meal. Lounge area with a timber deck floor sitting on the top our “Dancing Tree”.

Rondji Restaurant bears a name that pays homage to the late wife and muse of legendary Philippine-born maestro Antonio Blanco, and is a great addition to the Ubud dining scene, enabling visits and tours to the museum to end with a sumptuous meal.

Rondji Restaurant is an easy find, up on a hilltop over the valley. A steep driveway leads you right up to the gates of the museum, and the restaurant lies next to it. This latest addition complements the museum’s range of highlights and facilities that visitors can enjoy, either before or after tours through the palatial mansion that houses the Blanco family’s extensive paintings.

There’s a gift shop, the Blanco’s family temple and a vast garden and courtyard with exotic birds; and the restaurant is an evolution of the museum’s café that used to serve snacks and refreshments in a cosy Balinese setting.

Open for lunch and much recommended for dinners, Rondji Restaurant caters to groups and couples with its laidback but refined atmosphere, and romantic corners are also available with subtle lighting from lanterns hanging from foliage and candles atop white or red table linens.
The menu is a varied one; must-tries include a Chinese duck salad for starters, consisting of succulent Peking duck roasted in five Oriental spices and served with mandarin pancake, cucumber, spring onion and plum sauce. You’ll also find various Western treats from spaghettis to sandwiches on the menu.
